This online reference book provides a broad overview of costume traditions of diverse cultures from prehistoric times to the present day. Examines more than 430 items of human decoration and adornment, ranging from togas to turbans, necklaces to tennis shoes. Explores how and why items were created, the people who made them, and their uses. This set shows how clothing, headwear, body decorations, and footwear reflect the different cultural, religious, and societal beliefs.
FBIS Daily Report (on microfiche) Unrestricted Resource
Translations of radio and TV broadcasts, newspaper and magazine articles, wire services and speeches. The library has reports on microfiche for Latin America ('90+), Sub-Sahara Africa ('91+), Asia & Pacific/East Asia ('85+), USSR & East Europe/Central Eurasia ('78-'96), China ('79+), Eastern Europe ('87+). Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) Unrestricted Resource
The FGDC is tasked by Executive Order 12906 to develop procedures and assist in the implementation of a distributed discovery mechanism for national digital geospatial data. Geospatial metadata are critical to data discovery and serves as the fuel for both the Geospatial One-Stop data portal and the NSDI Clearinghouse.

Feminae covers journal articles, book reviews, and essays in books about women, sexuality, and gender during the Middle Ages. Books written by a single author are not indexed in Feminae; for these, check library catalogs that have strong collections in medieval studies.

Film Literature Index Unrestricted Resource
The Film Literature Index (FLI) annually indexes 150 film and television periodicals from 30 countries cover-to-cover and 200 other periodicals selectively for articles on film and television. The periodicals range from the scholarly to the popular. More than 2,000 subject headings provide detailed analysis of the articles.

The FLI Online contains approximately 700,000 citations to articles, film reviews and book reviews published between 1976-2001. For additional years, see the print index, Ref PN1994 .F45 (1973 - 2004).

Three archival collections drawn from the British Foreign Office files on the countries of South Asia from shortly before Indian partition and independence up to 1980. The archival documents are divided into the following sections: (1) Independence, Partition and the Nehru Era, 1947-1964, (2) South Asian Conflicts and Independence for Bangladesh, 1965-1971 (3) Afghanistan and the Cold War, Emergency Rule in India, and the Resumption of Civilian Rule in Pakistan, 1972-1980.

Full-text digital access to these historic documents.  This collection covers foreign relations interactions between Central America, South America, Cuba, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. It includes cables, memoranda, correspondence, reports and analyzes, and treaties.

Die Fragmente der griechischen Historiker (Brill) Middlebury Students, Faculty and Staff only Some full text available
The monumental series Die Fragmente der griechischen Historiker contains the critical edition of 856 Greek historians whose work is preserved in fragments. Felix Jacoby collected these fragments and edited them, adding extensive commentaries.
